A Workshop Gives you TIME to absorb and me time to SHARE more of the Yoga you LOVE.
Connecting mind, body and breath through Yoga helps us direct our attention inwards and the awareness we cultivate is what makes Yoga a practice, rather than a Task or Goal. You are likely to become flexible and stronger by doing Yoga. But, everyone NEEDS periods of deep rest and renewal. In fact Relaxation is a lifelong skill well worth mastering. You CAN HEAL the effects of Stress.
Let GO. Drift. R E L A X. Stop. Enter Stillness and Release. It’s not being idle or lazy but is SO important for wellbeing...
During this workshop enjoy both classical and creative Sun Salutation Flows that invite Heart-Opening and then explore poses that are Grounded and Reflective in nature. Be guided into effective body releases that lead you to conscious relaxation through the gateway to your inner world via Pratyahara also known as ‘interoception’ (open to the internal sense of your body). There will be time to BREATHE. A major support to wellbeing is through our own connection to and observation of rhythmical, soothing breaths; to feel energy shifts as respiration quality improves. Workshops are held in the lovely light, airy, space of the Main Hall at The Limes Centre.
