A Series of Special Saturday Workshops
Saturday 10th FEBRUARY 2.30pm to 4.30pm
BE PRESENT: Balance, Strengthen and Lengthen - A Lower Body Focus
A Special Afternoon of Mindful Flow-Motion for your Healthy Body-Mind in the Winter! At this February Workshop, BE Present and Explore your Connections to whole body breath and mind, but with a focus in to your Lower Body as you respond to both Strength and Length in a varied movement Practice. Standing poses awaken and Energise your entire body as the legs bear your weight & your posture is toned which helps bring you to Each Present Moment. Learn how to engage muscles that Stabilise you in order to help you centre yourself from the Feet Up and Improve your Balancing Skills. Release tension in legs and hips and feel sensations of lengthening and letting go. A range of movement including yoga, pilates and somatic techniques. Closes with a guided meditation and relaxation in Savasana.
THEN = Saturday 23rd MARCH 2.30pm to 4.30pm
EMPOWER & UNWIND: Hip Strength and Release
A Special Afternoon of mindful movement in which you will embody selected hip-releasing somatic moves and some yoga hip-openers. Healthy movement is so crucial for your whole body health, encouraging blood flow, flexibility, bone mass and muscle strength. Hip joints especially benefit from stability and strength and mindfully we may bring balance to each side of ourselves. When you move gently with self-care and kindness, greater ease and fluidity occurs and tension releases even from areas you had not been aware of. Breathing may become richer and more spacious which in itself allows you to really let go of any bodymind stress. It is a nurturing experience when you connect to Self in this way. Closes with a Guided Yoga Nidra, A deep yogic sleep, which de-stresses your whole system and cultivates “rest and digest”.

Workshops Give YOU the TIME to Absorb and me the time to CREATE and SHARE more of the Practices that you LOVE. Connecting mind, body and breath with good movement helps us direct our attention inwards and the awareness we cultivate is what makes Yoga a process and journey, rather than a Task or Goal. Workshops held in the lovely light, airy, space of the Main Hall at The Limes Centre. FREE Parking available.
