Treat yourself to an Afternoon of Dedicated Practice! Enjoy focused time to explore your love of Yoga and increase your own movement skills in a special environment. Deepen your experience of mindful breathing and meditation within the framework of a themed event. Each workshop is carefully planned and spaces are limited.
Do you ever suffer from sore feet or achey toes? Maybe even notice a bunion forming? Our genes determine the shape of the bones and the strength of the ligaments holding the foot together so the cause of bunions is partly hereditary. However, tight ill-fitting shoes, combined with a habit of walking with the feet turned out, can weaken the ligaments of the arch by putting pressure on the big toe. Your feet can also affect your knees, hips, pelvis and back and your overall posture. During this BAREFOOT workshop, you will release and restore mobility to the foot and ankle which can ease movement in the knees and hips. Posture Practice will focus on building a strong foundation with toe exercises that are effective for good quality strong standing asanas. Props will be used to help massage, stretch and strengthen muscles.
